DESCRIPTION
Central Utah is filled with interesting and compelling landscapes, including this massive butte and the many intricately textured mounds that form its base. Though it was too cloudy for a colorful sunrise, the perspective of this shot combined with the darker clouds conveys a sense of foreboding. It turned out to be appropriate, as a large winter storm was soon to follow.
