Hirzel is a Swiss region known for its single trees growing on top of its hills. It's mostly private land that belongs to local farmers but it has recently gained a lot of popularity among local photographers. These three trees have been planted on top of these hills by the land owner to celebrate the birth of their children and have been named after each of them.
This photo was taken during sunset on 18th December 2021, one of the last cold days of 2021, followed by a significant rise in temperature and snow melting.
