Hvitskur is located in the north of Iceland and is a flat stone sculpture shaped by wind and water. Legends say that the stone is a solidified troll that froze forever during a sunrise. While we sat on the beach watching the waves and clouds, a discussion arose about what Hvitskur reminds us of most: a drinking elephant.
The long exposure photo was taken on a rainy day in the cold autumn during midday, which is how the mist-like water resulted.

Have you ever had the feeling of absolute happiness and wanted to stay in the moment forever? That is how I feel when I am out and about exploring all the beautiful things this world has to offer.
Through photography, I get to experience jaw-dropping sunrises, calm lakes, thundering waterfalls, windy mountains, make the best out of rainy days, travel the world, learn about new cultures, see amazing architecture and meet great people.
Photography got me through a very tough time in my life, during a time I was fighting a severe illness. Photography was the one thing that took my mind off it, made me forget and be happy. It has now become an absolute passion I can't live without.
