Nature nominee

I believe that sometimes we forget to see what’s around us. I’ve lived in New England for many years and photography has helped me see and appreciate what surrounds me. This project was inspired by the idea of finding elegance in the dead of winter. Usually, the trees have lost their colors and the grass is dead. Yet, slowly I began seeing the shapes that trees make. The arching. The lines. The colors. I wanted to capture that and celebrate it.
