Night Photography nominee

The series of photographs is extract from a Portfolio entitled "Laurentian Nights". The Laurentian Forest occupies most of Eastern Canada (Quebec and Ontario) and is characterized by its moderately rugged terrain, the luxuriance of its forests and the thousands of streams, rivers and lakes that run through its territory. The images in the Portfolio offer images that highlight the softness and serenity of the Laurentian landscapes with the majestic and grandiose character of the night skies.

I have been practicing photography as an amateur photographer for over 45 years. "Child" of the argentic school, I switched to digital photography in the last ten years. I mainly take photographs of landscapes, architecture and portraits (studio); mostly in black & white.
