Night Photography nominee

Sagarmatha, more commonly known as Mount Everest, marks with its 8849 m the highest mountain on our planet. Being that tall it is one of the last mountains to still glow even a long time after sunset. I captured this spectacle while waiting for three hours at -25°C and strong winds. On the left, there is the milky way and on the right side of the image purple clouds are slowly moving in.

I try to create isolated and natural images where the viewer can follow the story within the photograph.
