'Grass' is about the eternal connection between human and nature.
Maybe one day, our bodies will remember, that we are a part of nature. Maybe one day, we can again feel the beauty of pure life in our veins. Maybe one day, we will connect again - and be free.
'Fabric' is about inner peace.
You slipped out of your worries, dropped them on the floor by the door – replaced them with beautiful, light fabric. All time has stopped; there are no noises, no news, no tasks – nothing to burden you. This eternal moment is yours.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Dominik Falenski is born in Bonn, Germany in 1983. Dominik started photographing at age 13, but decided to study classical piano with prof. Anne Øland at The Royal Danish Academy of Music in Denmark. Photography was put on hold during the many years at the piano.
In 2017, Dominik rediscovered his love for photography and is now working analogue in black and white with a Hasselblad 500 cm. He develops his prints in his own darkroom, using Lith print-technique.
When photographing the nude, Dominik mainly works in very subdued light, afterwards pushing the film at least one stop in development. Together with the lith print-technique, this creates a magical look of times gone by.
