Concept: The question comes in mind: What is real and what is longing? Experienced moments can mix in our mind and grow into an expanded or new memory. Those memories evoke feelings and gradually develop, the semblance of a fleeting yet tangible moment. With an experimental photographic technique, photographs from 1996, which are only fragmentary available as a memory, became a reconstructed memory put together. Clear and hazy moments of this barely their memory are clutched by fading feelings, overlapping situations and breaking associations.
To create the pictures I have developed a new photography sequence which allows me to display the pictures as I imagine a memory. Every image in this series is created with a single shot and has not been edited afterwards.
