With the Corona pandemic behind them and the economy booming, the local garment production in Bangladesh is picking up. Many Bengali ladies are shopping for a new outfit, and those dresses and fabrics are produced locally. Both the weaving and the dying of the fabric is done locally. The next phase of the development should be focussed on producing the garments under more compliant and sustainable circumstances, as the current production methods are rather traditional.
