Working as head of public relations at the Munich Deacony I had the possibility to participate in one oft the first anti-covid vaccinations beeing held in Germany. The vaccination took place on dec 27th, 2020 in a protestant senior home in Riemerling, southeast of Munich. It was a sunday morning and a team of the Johanniter were dedicated to do this job under the eyes of serveral reporters. The chapel was the place where everything took place because it was the biggest room in the house.
For all of us it was a very moving moment and I concentrated me on the eyes of the people beeing vaccinated. The eyes, both expression of fear and of hope.
