Photomanipulation nominee

We live in an artificial world that it was important for me to remember, who am I really?, if it is necessary to make changes in my life, to question whether what I was still represents me today.

This image is a photograph with digital manipulation, where I seek to explain, what it is to be reborn.

"To be reborn is to be aware of your own existence again," after selecting this phrase as my main idea, I decided to create a theatrical image, where in the middle of a scene with natural elements, there is a head resting, opens an eye and realizes that the elements that surround it also inhabit it. He is aware of his own existence, this time recognizing his roots, realizing that he is one more being within a natural system.

My artistic work is a fusion of my personal vision, imagination, and various visual references. I aim to reveal the dark and corrupted side of the human condition, emerging from the shadows to confront the duality between ugliness and beauty. These two seemingly antagonistic elements converge in my work to provoke deep reflection on the world we inhabit. Through my artistic lens, I seek to bear witness to the decay of contemporary life, exploring the darkest and most complex aspects of our existence.
