DESCRIPTION
This series is a surrealistic view of the reality in which we live.
Social media Avatars and digital stereotyped lookalikes are gradually replacing our real figure, becoming more and more dominant. Our real existence and our digital presence mix with one another, to the extent that it is difficult to separate one from the other.
Real human interaction has been reduced to a bare minimum, having been replaced by digital one.
The lack of personal touch and human expression lead to strangeness, alienation and
Loneliness.
The Covid pandemic exacerbated the process, which has been in place before it started
I added the portraits to commercial photos of mannequins and processed them to get the look that I wanted to achieve.
AUTHOR
Following a successful career in management and Venture Capital I turned to Photography.
I studied Art's history and philosophy and attended numerous workshops.
I try to create photos that have direct visual impact that engages the spectator seducing him to closely observe them and hopefully stimulate a thought process.
I have won numerous prizes in international photography contests. These include
3 Gold,3 Silver,15 Bronze and 128 Honorable Mentions in International Photography Awards (IPA),PX3,One Eyeland, Photographers Forum, Color Awards, Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest, Fine Art Photography award, Epson Pano Awards, Black and White Spider Award and others. My photos were exhibited in two solo and numerous group exhibitions.
