Photomanipulation 2nd place winner

I started with this project more than three years ago, when news started changing in Argentina, newspapers talked about recession, social chaos, political inestability, unemployment,inflation, corruption...

News were so bad that made us all feel very pessimistic. Reality was bad, but the way information was reported , showing us no way out, left us with no hope.

I felt so overwhelmed I tried to express all my feelings in the images of this series

I am a Photographer and visual artist, born in Buenos Aires Argentina
My passion is to build new images combining photographs taken over the years with the representations in my mind, mixing realism with illusion and humor. I use photography not to discover reality, but to build a new one, my mind guides me in the process of creating “Impossible realities”
In 2018 I obtained the “1st Pace and Gold star award in Fine art -Photomanipulation” from ND PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS and in 2019 “honorable mention” in the same category

In 2020 I participated in the portfolio review of FOTOFEST- Houston, with my series "I cry for you Argentina"(http://www.picturagallery.com/2020/05/18/bea-blousson/)

I was chosen "Bronze winner Juried award for PX3 PRIX DE LA PHOTOGRAPIE PARIS"

I participated in PINTA MIAMI 2020 with the LAURA HABER gallery

My work appeared published in the book (HUNDRED) 100 PHOTOGRAPHIZE BEST SELECTED 2020, published by Photographize Magazine, with photographers from all over the world,
