In this particular flooded cave there’s an air dome, where the lack of light above the water creates a mirror effect which makes the stalactites coming from the ceiling feel like suspended in mid air.
These “Suspended” formations contrast the cone shape formations on the cave floor, and help frame the diver in the middle of the scene
