Street Photography nominee

There is a beach near my home. Next to the sandy shore, there is a playground where people play. The water and the sky provide a beautiful backdrop. When the light is right, the scene is magical!

I love beauty; and nothing excites me more than finding it in everyday common objects and places. But each scene, unless staged, happens only once and then vanishes forever. The world is transient. Time does not stop.

Of course, art is more than beauty. Good art should communicate, tell stories, and evoke feelings. Great art should elevate us to the spiritual realm.

So it is through photography that I hope to freeze and preserve moments of beauty, to tell stories, and to lift the human spirit.
