Into the Unknown (Series)
DESCRIPTION
One day I visited a very empty and white-ish city with no sounds and no one to be seen. I remember ignoring the fact everything was oddly quiet. I looked at my hands and then up to the horizon. I was in the city center; I can still recall whispering to my brother that I didn't want to leave Scotland. “I can’t. I can’t. I simply can’t.” and I started to cry. I don’t remember ever crying like that. I couldn’t stop. And then - I woke up shaken on what was our first day of traveling to Scotland, by a worried face - my brother - who confirmed I was crying in the middle of the night. I couldn’t believe it. Why was I crying for a land that was never mine, to begin with? The magical mist of a silent and white Loch Ness happened the very next day. But instead of deep solitude, I felt peace. I felt happiness. I belong here. This is my dream - was it a dream? I was roaming into the unknown. An ice-blue path of tranquility with nothing behind. I cried silent tears of joy because, for once, I have felt at home.
