Travel nominee

Stood on a spec in the middle of the Atlantic, my adventure in the Faroe Islands was coming to a spectacular end. Getting to Kalsoy island involved a car, boat and hike combination. I was prepared for the worst conditions - mainly wind, cold and rain, instead I was presented with unusually warm and windless conditions on a late Septembers evening. This was simply a wonderful exploration in spectacular surroundings.

Seascapes, landscapes and urban environments is where I find my photographic inspiration. I am drawn to water and fascinated with interpreting movement, light and rugged and varied environments. My photographic work is described as authentic and minimalist. I am passionate about sustainability and the natural health benefits of the great outdoors.
