The inspiration for my work primarily stems from observing mundane and ordinary objects and attempting to capture them in a way that completely reconstructs their initial aesthetic. The objects of choice in these works being, acetate sheets and cardboard.
I find myself drawn to the colours, shapes, and angles within the objects I choose. Homing in on composition leads to further manipulation of the objects, resulting in something that's so far visibly removed from its original form, it creates something new entirely.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I am a 28-year-old photographer from Manchester, England where I studied for a BA in Photography. I then went on to work in the industry both in England and Australia.
I've always been drawn to the abstract side of photography. I find it fascinating how simple elements such as line, shape, colour, and depth can be captured and reworked, blurring the lines between painting and photography in some cases.
My work has been showcased in the Saul Hay Gallery for contemporary art, Manchester. I was also awarded first place in the virtual exhibition 'Emulsion' for the London-based gallery, The Holy Art, Both in 2021.
