Abstract nominee

I slowly peer into the surfaces of an alien planet.
I measure, I evaluate, I carefully write down the coordinates of unknown territories that, cautiously, overflight.
Numbers, lines, curves. I dream and draw, draw and dream among these signs every possible itinerary.
I'm listening. In unknown languages, contour lines whisper rectangles of stories to me.
But you don't reveal the worlds hidden beneath your visible.

Photographers, journalist and writer, based in Rome and specialized on mountain items (mountaineering, climbing,hiking).
I wrote on many important magazines about it, and I was author of guide-books about Italy mountain areas.
Nowadays, my interests are moving to social and political reportage, studio portraits, visual story-telling, documentary and conceptual photography.
My last photo-book. "Non correre" (don't run) was awarded with Marco Bastianelli Prize (most important Italian prize for photo-books) as best self-published book in 2020.
