Artificial light. It is very common in today's era. People have long been accustomed to its existence, and it offsets the impact of the night on daily life. However, its functionality is constantly being subverted with technological innovation, from heating to lighting, from decoration to metaverse. Artificial light, just as human beings transform nature, attempts to invade and transform human life. Like our imagination of future scientific and technological life in recent years, it seems that every step can not be separated from man-made light to survive alone. Driven by these artificial lights, people's lives are also gradually becoming virtualized, and the interweaving of real and virtual spaces has become a self-evident common goal. It is conceivable that artificial light is about to greedily attach to every corner of the city. Now, Whenever I stop in front of these urban buildings which are already surrounded by dazzling lights, I can't help thinking - where are our future and what virtual identity should we be under the artificial light at that time? So I embarked on a journey of discovery.
