Cityscape nominee

I live in Midtown East, New York. Every now and then, a heavy fog comes from
the East River. I saw the fog coming in from my apartment, this was no ordinary fog, you could not even see the river let alone seeing Long Island city.. I called the property manager of a high rise building located on the corner of 47th and 1st.. I asked him: can you get me on the roof, NOW!! He is a friend of mine, thats why he let me, otherwise it is not open to the public, not even the residents as far as I know.

In a matter of 10 minutes I was already on the roof with my Fujifilm GFX 100 with 32-64mm lens. At one point the fog covered every single building except the most iconic two buildings in the world. click

I was born in Istanbul Turkey. I have been practicing photography for over 20 years, since studying the craft in college I travel nation to nation capturing unique images, such as astonishing African wildlife to the sharp shots of New York City Skyscrapers.

Years after Graduating from college with a degree in visual communications and design, I took the risk of venturing to New York city in 2011 to pursue my passion. In 2016 I went to the streets of New York City to sell my photographs on the corner of West Broadway & Prince. Now I have a gallery on West Broadway and a pop up in Southampton.
