XXII These are the Major Arcana of the Tarot de Marseille deck.
The origin of the Tarot is unknown. They are considered to be a path of initiatory knowledge that starts with the classic card game on which they are initially based.
XXII represents the crossed fates, the paths that, by chance or destiny, meet in a place.
A singular place in which one can witness the condensation of unusual experiences, in which dream and reality mix together.
XXII, These are the characters, the entities that animate the place.
This process of getting to know each other and meeting started by chance, from a request for a Tarot card reading by the characters. This encounter establishes a direct channel between both actors involved, bringing out an archetypal snapshot of the consultant's unconscious. The reading of the cards, through the method coined by the multifaceted artist and scholar of tarot Alejandro Jodorowsky, is dropped into a path strongly linked to reality and its direct representation, but introducing paradoxical elements and symbols.
The tarot imposes a confrontation with the present time and the element of chance aimed at the creation of dream images that, otherwise, would remain in the substratum of consciousness.
