Conceptual nominee

The metaverse is an interesting new concept for our time, both in love with and at odds with true existence. These works play with a reverse interpretation of the new paradigm. They ask the question of what real life would look like if it ran the way the metaverse does? It both pokes fun at and embraces the concept of everything-ness: consumerism, individuality, persona & identity, sexuality, play and community. Individual meaning takes over in this playground and larger context, order or purpose come into question.
