The river Lethe is, in Greek mythology, one of the five rivers of the Underworld. It is the "river of oblivion".
This picture speaks of our modern way of escaping the difficulties of reality and forgetting problems, sadness and worries. It also questions our contemporary and future investment in the tool of virtual reality.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
In 2016, following a strong creative impulse, far from my daily life as a clinical psychologist, I chose to train in photography with the visceral need to finally give life to my personal imagination.
I draw my inspiration from painting, particularly the Symbolist, Art Nouveau and Pre-Raphaelite movements. Conceived as pictorial works, my photographs, sometimes dark, sometimes bright, have a philosophical or psychological background through the archetypes and symbols presented. The viewer can decipher the enigma by following the clues and letting his or her subconscious do the talking. So, composed with deep symbolism, my images tackle the themes of the imaginary, mystery and dreams that defy reason and intelligence.
In the space of three years, my work has won numerous international prizes in renowned photography competitions such as the Beautiful Bizarre Art Prize, the Tokyo International Foto Awards, and many others.
My work has also been published by Taschen, Vogue Italia and Enchanted Living (Faerie Magazine).
I have participated in exhibitions such as the Naia Museum exhibition in France, the FotoNostrum exhibition in Barcelona, Spain and I am preparing a solo exhibition at the Château of the romantic writer Châteaubriand in France for 2024.
