This is a photo from my project "The Moss' Scale". It's a scientific scale that measures the fragility and resistance of the physical matter.
I started to do this series after my dad died of cancer.
It's a project about the resistance and fragility of life, the resilience, the fight with the disease. The strength of those who survive, or those who survive the loss of someone they loved. The fragility of life itself, so delicate and so beautiful, the fragility of our minds in front of the possibility of dying. In this analysis I wanted to express an internal theatre, as a cathartic way to cope with my loss.
