Reimagining a play by Maurice Maeterlinck, Blue Bird with the new view on the cast and the story itself, which has been shown only a few times in theaters and twice in the cinema.
The following project shows the first part of the play, where the audience first meets all the characters. Tyltyl and Mytyl are siblings and once they wake up during the night because of the knocking sound on the window. They meet fairy Berylune, who at first looked like an old lady. She is sad that kids are not grateful for the things they have in their lives. "You have to be brave to see what’s hidden,” she says and asks to go in search of the Blue Bird, which will bring them happiness in life. She gives Tyltyl a diamond, which when turned allows a person to see the soul of things. As soon as he turns it, everything around is wonderfully transformed and the old witch suddenly turned into a fairy tale princess. All the objects around comes to life: their dog and a cat, fire, milk, light, night, water, bread, time and sugar.
