I created a series of portraits of flowers sealed in the frozen water. I treated them in the same manner as I would a person in from of the camera. I wanted each one of them to have their own personality and story to tell.
Therefore, I chose to photograph them in a certain state. I felt that through the process of getting frozen they built their own style and identity and develop a sense of style and individuality.
The images are part of and wide series, which I am currently working on.

AUTHOR
I am photographer specializing in portraiture and still life. I grew up in Poland, where taking photographs to me was a way to explore the reality around me. In 2004 I move to London where my journey with photography has begun in a wider spectrum. Diversity of the surroundings made me want to transform photography from hobby into vocation. In 2014 I graduated in Fine Art Photography from London Metropolitan University and started working as a professional photographer, dedicating lots of time to personal projects and research. Working on location I used the same principals but instead bringing the subject to the studio I recreated the studio in the subject’s natural environment.
