"Life is in the water, a reflected mirror, a flow of mysteries."
I chose to represent this photograph in a picturesque way, with glares and techniques typical of a Pre-Raphaelite painting, I imagined brushing with water, until the essence of what I felt dripped. Water always gives us the opportunity to reflect ourselves in it. The work is the evocation of one of the four natural elements that is suffering the greatest damage in this specific historical period. The aquatic emblem of this work is the beautiful nymph, the Naiad, essence of lakes, rivers and springs, soul of streams, bearer of fertility, protector of the aquatic and marshy world. The human / mythological iconography that I have projected on the water is a clear testimony of how close man is to self-destruction, man will return to water as in the womb since he is not the keeper, but master of what it was given, and because, like an egoic and usurper God, the man did not understand through the water the harsh truth about himself. As in the principle of destruction and generation. Water shows the human soul with simplicity.
