Openly queer, I highlight, without modesty, a community often excluded and pointed out (gays, women, trans, drag queens...), trying to change mentalities at my humble level. This work allows me to talk about social and topical issues, but also to give a representation of the LGBTQ+ community against a background of ultra colourful, offbeat, tender and erotic settings. I like to play with the codes of crypto-gay cinema and not leave the viewer indifferent.
I also work a lot on weariness and the body. The body is everywhere on social networks and in magazines, it becomes, for many, an addiction to the race for perfection and this allows me, in my photographs, to gently sexualise the bodies of men.
Sensuality is present in each of my photos, I like to fantasize the world, to put the finger on what disturbs and especially, I want to make people dream. A shared voyeurism.
It was important for me to keep the magic in my stagings, to trivialise queer culture and assert my identity, while bringing strong messages, without falling into pathos or dull-coloured melodrama.
Series started in 2018, it is a representation of my general work that I am still working on.
