2018 is a total blur for me: I spent most of it grappling with clinical depression and finding the right medication by trial and error.
Most of the time I felt my body was a blob totally empty of any vital energy and the only place I felt safe in was the bed.
If I count the hours I spent lying down, they far surpass the ones standing upright.
Depression is utterly isolating and I wanted to share my experience so that whoever needs it can find a tiny bit of solace in knowing they are not alone.

AUTHOR
I hold a degree in Graphic Design from the Instituto Europeo di Design, Rome and a BA in Photography from the University of Westminster, London.
In London I spent most of my professional life freelancing as a Travel Photographer and Art Director.
For one year I was Creative Director for Conde Nast UK, Contract Publishing division, where I oversaw the art of 4 magazines and pitched for new business, winning prestigious contracts with clients like Tate Modern and Harrods.
In 2008 I relocated to the fabulous city of Buenos Aires fascinated by its lively creative energy and incredible light. From 2014 till 2017 I was partner of FotoRuta a company offering photography tutoring and photographic expedition.
Since 2018 I am spreading my time between Buenos Aires and Italy and dedicate most of my time to Fine Art Portraiture.
