Through time at the Grand Canyon (Series)
DESCRIPTION
After eighteen months of staying cautiously at home, my wife and our two daughters took a road trip from Southern California to Los Angeles this summer, visiting the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. After a long drive, we finally arrived with just enough time to settle down in the hotel and walk to the first lookout of the Grand Canyon. It was my first time at this majestic site and nothing could have prepared me for the real thing; the size and grandeur was breathtaking and indescribable. As I watched the seemingly infinite horizon, I had never felt so humble and my worries had never seemed so small. I wanted to capture different angles of the canyon, from the omnipresence of the afternoon sun to the soft pinks and purples of twilight. The landscape seemed entranced in a duet with the sky to create one of the most awe-inspiring views man has ever experienced.
