My name is Oleg Bashkatov. I was born on June 10, 1956, in the Krasnogorsk village, Altai District, Russia.
I’ve been photographing since I was 9.
In 1973 I finished secondary school. That year I entered the Academy of civil aviation in Saint-Petersburg.
In 1978 I completed my studies at the Academy.
After that I got a job of IL-18, TU-154? IL-86 TU-204 navigator at the «Siberia» airline in Novosibirsk and was working there till 2008.
In 2002, I joined the Russian Photographic Union.
Since then, I have organized 25 personal exhibitions.
I retired in 2008.
