Time seems to stand still. The leaf tree stands calmly in the place it has been living in all its life. The surroundings are familiar to it, as are the returning seasons. It is wearing the last coloured autumn leaves

I work with analog photography, using large-format cameras.
I am fascinated by what happens when time, light and silence interact.
The slow pace of work demands patience and attention. It opens up space for perception.
I find my inspiration in nature, in the immediate surroundings, in transitions of light and weather, of proximity and distance.
I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the inconspicuous, the quietly present.
I consider myself a painter of light.
