Millions of years ago, what is today New Zealand separated from the primeval continent of Gondwana. Since then, a flora and fauna independent of external ecosystems has been able to develop in New Zealand. Today, the country at the edge of the world delights with its wild coasts, endless expanses of land, huge primeval forests, glaciers and volcanoes and a mostly endemic flora.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I work with analog photography, using large-format cameras.
I am fascinated by what happens when time, light and silence interact.
The slow pace of work demands patience and attention. It opens up space for perception.
I find my inspiration in nature, in the immediate surroundings, in transitions of light and weather, of proximity and distance.
I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the inconspicuous, the quietly present.
I consider myself a painter of light.
