Night Photography nominee

Tropique des Pyrénées is a series that will link the causes and consequences of global warming. I wanted to extract from an obviously tempered unit of place in 2021, restricted to the agglomeration of Pau in the French Pyrenees, the premises of warming by photographing scenes that give the feeling of being in the tropics, like a projection of what Pau will be in a few decades. In addition, these images must correspond to a certain American fantasy, symbol of consumerism at excess, model which constitutes the first cause of Warming. Holywoodian cinema sets exaggeratedly in the American style so that the viewer realizes that he is himself immersed in a setting, on a bloodless land from which we continue to plunder the resources to maintain the illusion of a continuity of opulence. These night shots accentuate that sense of unreality that is really just the world around us.

Professional photographer, I am specialised in architecture and night photography. In the artistic field, I am represented by Segolene Brossette Galery in Paris and Artistics on internet. My main work leads me to series about human traces in landscape wich reveal his place in the society. These last years, I focused on the climate change, creating a series on causes with "incandescences" and then on consequences with "limites". I've had some awards in Paris : photocollection, Open show and Bourse du talent finalist. And then a Fubiz award for myprovence festival and in China with Hiiibrand Photography. The main exhibitions took place in Paris with Fotofever in Louvre Carrousel, during parcours 18, in galeries (Segolene Brossette, Thierry Marlat, centre Iris, Wanted...) and in Arles for the off festival but also in Rennes, in Marseille, in Biarritz, Pau...
I am involved in a photographers collective wich name is "A propos" with whom I make many artistic works alwys human concerned, social works or environnementals concerns.
