Nudes 1st place winner

When we met each other, we were in our thirties, and we had many things in common. We shared the feeling of having followed a dream that wasn’t ours. Since then, we have gone together through a change that led us to be the persons we really wanted to be.
To celebrate this self-acknowledgment, we found ourselves shooting nude self-portraits together, immersed in nature. Through photography, we have explored the relationship between our bodies and the environment. We have challenged prejudices and opened ourselves to an experience that has strengthened our individualities. We have enjoyed the connection with nature, as we were reinforcing the connection between our worlds.

I was born in Rome in 1980, and I currently live there. After achieving a technical master and a doctorate, I approached photography in 2013. I have attended courses and workshops on long term projects and storytelling, and I slowly explored different types of photography.
My main interests lay in self-portraits and landscape photography. Both types of photography represent my own way of analyzing, researching and elaborating my own identity. In March 2019, I had my first solo exhibition during “Mese Della Fotografia Roma 2019”. In May 2021, some of my pictures were exposed in a collective exhibition about self-portrait at “Galleria Gallerati” in Rome.
