The Hope of a Survivor

This work represents the exploration towards the inner world.
The character after a series of stormy events, thrown from the sea in an unknown and physically non-existent place
he is placed in front of a single perspective, that is to follow the only half that presents himself before him;
A castle in the distance shrouded and guarded by fog.
The goal is arduous, the path full of pitfalls, it is a long way in search of ourselves,
portraying "the journey" is a way to remind the artist of the prelude of the way.
For the observer, it is a mirror in which to reflect: a battle, a sacrifice, a continuous pilgrimage, a hope,
an invitation to keep the view on the horizon whether or not it is visible.

The model Verdiana Meneghini with kind permission has lent itself to the collaboration for the realization of the photography.

Elisa Scascitelli was born in Italy in 1989.
She is a creative and visionary Artist in Fine Art and Fairytales Photography.
But she just loves calling herself a Fantastic Worlds Explorer.
Exploration, nature, forests, mystery, the continuous questions without answer, the "you don't know" those are sources of inspiration that persistently leak in her artworks.
Labyrinthine nature of the artist is intertwined with the arcane, with the dreamlike and mythological symbolism, mixing like color on a painter's canvas.
