My good friend's (Herman) funeral portrait photo display.
My grandma passed away in 2021, I was the one who retouched her funeral portrait. I suddenly thought when someone die, they actually rarely decide what portrait to use in their own funerals. So I started shooting funeral portraits for me and my friends.
The concept of this portrait is on spiritual level, we are all one and how we look don't matter. Herman loves wearing those earrings, that is sort of his character. We all know it's him when we see the outline of earrings even we cannot see his face. It shows the deep connection between him and people who will be attending his funeral.
