Sea Smoke Fishing (Single)
DESCRIPTION
A scallop fisherman starts his day at work on the Maine coast just as the sun rises in -25F temperatures. The extreme temperature differential between this cold air and the warmer water creates a dramatic backdrop of what appears to be a huge squall with ominous dark black clouds but is actually natures interaction between the air and water temperatures.
AUTHOR
Greg Gordon, a professional mariner who openly admits to being a prisoner of the sea, is a self-taught photographer who lives in the very northeastern part of the USA in the coastal fishing town of Eastport, Maine.
He strives to capture in his photographs a glimpse of time in this world full of motion to provide people a chance to pause and escape for just a moment from their busy world.
