Seascape nominee

Chilled II was shot at three locations, I found I was drawn into the stillness of the reflecting light in the foreground that mirrored the sky. For the series I tried to combine that formation where I could and composed without trying to necessarily centre rocks perfectly and left in any imperfections to give that raw element a seascape should have.

Paul is a fine art landscape photographer based on the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Born in Taranaki, grew up in Hamilton, New Zealand and moved to Queensland, Australia in 2001 where he now resides. As a profession combined with his photography Paul has been the owner of a preservation picture framing and fine art printing business since 2004 where he sells his work through his gallery. It was through his successful creative business that his photography journey evolved.
