Architecture nominee

The Küppersmühle Museum is a striking industrial monument from the 19th century, which was originally built as a mill and operated as such for over 100 years. Between 1989 and 1999, the former industrial wasteland of Duisburg's inner harbor was transformed into a multifunctional service area: the “old Küppersmühle” became the Küppersmühle Museum for Modern Art. One of the imposing staircases of this house is shown in my pictures.
