AUTHOR
After a long period of stoppage, Alain Rappeneau resumed photography in 2016. He went digital and since then he has invests in fine art.
He practices photography in many fields and is always on the lookout for new creative techniques.
At first his artistic approach focused on proxy-photography mainly with wild flowers.
He regularly practices landscape photography and the long exposure during his walks in Burgundy or during the places he discovers during his travels.
He returned to street photography while preparing his second participation in the exhibition of his photo club in Burgundy.
The technique of multi-exposure came back to him during his creative research and an emotional search that he feels he has to transmit. He began to experiment on his own during his photographic wanderings in urban settings.
Multiple exposure photography is a source of infinite creativity. It allows you to fix several moments on the same image. This creates confusion in time and the shift between each view creates an abstraction in the urban
He also enjoys black and white photography. This allows him to communicate his vision and infuse feelings and emotions into his fine art photography.
