Light Structure (Series)
DESCRIPTION
If the standard of photographing architecture is an image of a structure, lines and forms created in natural light, showing that structure in its full realistic form, then would I ask how else can one see it, present it or create it? First, for this project there are not really a lot of words that express my deep feelings in creating these images because they were made from something that came from within. They were not planned ahead of time, and were made in fairly short order. As each pen stroke was created I felt inspiration to do the next, and then the next, as in some sort of freehand or free mind expression. Being able to create the direction and intensity of the light in the images makes for some interesting work to present. The mind’s eye is set free, making it possible to see and create however it moves you.
