BIOGRAPHY
I am an amateur photographer living in Japan.
When I was a teenager, I graduated from an art college with the aim of becoming a painter, but I got a job unrelated to art and stopped all artistic activities.
After several decades of marriage, child-rearing, and work life, I suddenly started taking pictures around the age of 50.
I realized the possibilities of expression in photography, and I am trying to express the world view that I originally wanted to express in my paintings when I was a teenager.
I still work for welfare and take pictures on my days off.
