Conceptual nominee

In this work the artist contemplates stifling love, a hypertrophic expression of the feeling usually considered a virtue. The author explores the extension of paternalism and overprotection in relation to the imperceptible transformation of both the nature of the relationship and the love object. The project focuses on such issues as personal choice, the price that needs to be paid for freedom, and the impact of past experience on the affected person’s later social behaviour.
