Since I was a little boy, I've always been fascinated by translucent objects and liquids, so I decided to bring this to some of my photos
After many attempts and experiments I decided to work with ice, initially I got great pictures, but I realized that whenever we make ice in a conventional refrigerator, a large amount of oxygen accumulates in the center of the block, so I decided to make a circular ice block to give more consistency and simetry. I perforated the center of the block with a very hot spoon to remove the oxygen concentrated in the center of the block, and molded the ice with warm water. In the end the cube was a circular block of ice with a hole in the middle. To bring out more contrast from the oxygen trapped inside the bubbled ice I used a hard light directly on the side of the block and used the camera flash to focus. So I experimented with colors using Lightroom and Photoshop and got this result at the end.
This photo was taken with a Canon T7 camera with an 18-55mm lens and has a very high resolution.
