Sequences - Of the creative potential of the city.
It all started in 2019 experimenting with a number of different subjects.
Two years later my "Sequences - of the creative potential of the city" project is ready.
It consists of a series of photographic images with some incursions in video.
It's the first time that people, lots of people, appear in my work... I think it's my reaction to the solitude of the two long Covid years, it just felt right to dive into human interactions and dynamics after so much emptiness.
With Sequences I am challenging the idea that photography can only show an instant, freeze a moment. I want to expand this with motion, a feeling of passing time, but also a sense of our own impermanence.

Italian, born in 1969, she lives and works, as a multimedia production manager for communication, in Brussels.
After studying computer graphics and animation at UCLA in California, she worked for over 20 years in the audio-visual sector.
In recent years, she has also been exploring photography, video and animation in personal artistic projects.
