My photography is an exploration of the unspoken. My goal is to showcase ordinary moments that are imbued with the nuances of metaphor and meaning. My subjects are a collection of the people I love. My current work involves briefly inhabiting my subjects’ personal environments to look for moments of authenticity. My work is a celebration of hope, the beauty of stillness, and the sublime that can be found in everyday life.
Utilizing 35mm film and cyanotype, I use a process which pushes my limits and combines an array of media. Cyanotype printing on watercolor paper gives me physical access to the manipulation of my work.
My current photos are a departure from my previous work of capturing landscapes and pursuing street photography. This work is a venture into portrait photography, which includes an assortment of hand portraits.
