Fine Art nominee

The idea is to place the human being in a sculptural context. I seek to take away everything, except that part of the human being that carries the strongest communication. The title of the picture, Obscured by Cloth, refers to my fascination with the rock group Pink Floyd

I am 62 years old, married and has three children and three grandchildren. I've worked as a lawyer since 1988, most recently as a judge and deputy chief judge in the Hålogaland Court of Appeal in Tromsø for 23 years. I started photographing around 1974. Eventually, this activity was delayed due to education, family and career start. Photography resumed in the early 2000s, with digital camera.

I'm particularly interested in long exposure, black and white and monochrome photography of landscapes, structures and abstractions. I have a keen interest in Fine Art Photography and Minimalism. My main references are Michael Kenna, Sebastiao Salgado, Yamamoto Masao, and Morten Krogvold.
