The photos were taken using a microscope. The magnification is approximately 40x. The original size of the scenes is approximately 1,5mm x 1,05mm. I used polarized light for lighting. I placed a cellophane disc in the path of the illuminating rays.
The photo shows microcrystals of ABE - Callus (or Corn) Remover popular in Poland, which - as it turns out - can also be used for other purposes :).
